Practitioner Health is a free, confidential NHS mental health treatment service specifically for healthcare professionals. It aims to improve the clinical health and mental wellbeing of the workforce and support them to remain in or return safely to work. You can refer yourself using the online form they provide. They don’t organise ASD assessments, however they can provide other mental health services, such as CBT or counseling.

National Autistic Society are providing support, guidance and advice to people with ASD. They also campaign for improved rights, services and opportunities.

Ambitious about Autism is an organisation that supports education, training and employment of people on the spectrum and also runs research projects and autism awareness campaigns.

The Global Autism Summit consists of a group of specialists that discuss issues are related to the life of people with ASD, They provide information, support and guidance on autism.

DSN offers peer support for doctors and medical students with mental health concerns.

By far the best channel out there when it comes to high functioning autism, its challenges and sharing experiences. Paul, the creator of the channel, has obviously done a lot of research and also a lot of work identifying characteristics and common problems that he presents in a very logical and oganised manner.

Mary Doherty is a consultant anaesthetist and the founder of Autistic Doctors International, a social media group for doctors on the spectrum. She has written books and done a number of presentations on autism in doctors.
