Welcome to The Autistic Doctors, a website that was created, not only as my personal enlightment and coming out project, but also to help others in a similar position. Here you will find resources and research material on autism in relation to the medical but also to other professions. You are invited on a journey of self discovery that will unravel over the upcoming articles. The plan is to share the experience, but also to help identify these autistic traits in some of you, doctors or not, and hopefully also help pave the way to a formal diagnosis. It will also be an effort to  put names on things, thoughts and ideas that are difficult for most of us to define and therefore articulate. Finally, my ambition is to built strategies that will help professionals on the spectrum to cope with everyday situations and tailor our jobs to match our individual needs.
